Are you nuts about "Downton Abbey" like I am? Actually, I was a real late-comer to the series because I didn't start watching it until last winter. By the end of the second episode, I was hooked! I remember seeing one of my favorite English bone china settings in one of the first episodes. I was so surprised that I quickly scrolled back so I could double check. Yes! I was right! Royal Albert Derby Imari. I have about a dozen pieces of this beautiful collection, and I really use it! It's not stashed away in a cupboard waiting for someday. Anyway, Downton Abbey...this coming season will be the last one. Bummer. The good news? There are several Downton Abbey fabric collections from Andover, and the photo you see below is one of them. This is the quilt that goes on the frame today. It has a sophisticated look, and Jill did a beautiful job with the piecing. Don't you love the backing fabric, too?
